The workshop is a one-week, intensive study program to enhance a science teacher's knowledge of chemical demonstrations and laboratory activities with the goal of meeting the National Education Science Standards for chemistry.

The Gill Foundation of Houston, Texas is providing sponsorship of 20 East Texas Teachers.  Sponsorship is based on application to the Flinn Foundation to participate in the workshop.  Application materials and information are available from the Flinn Scientific Foundation.
