PRE-OPTOMETRY

Suggested Program of Study

NOTE:Pre-Optometry does not lead to a degree.  This program is only meant to meet optometry schools' prerequisite course requirements.  To be most competetive for admission to a student's optometry school of choice, the student should choose a Bachelor's degree program that is offered at Lamar University.   Commonly a Biology or Chemistry degree is sought, however a degree in any area is acceptable to most optometry schools.
